Local singers needed
5 February 2020
Created by award winning artists Jacob Polley (poet) & Marcos Fernandez (composer), The Soldier’s Return takes its text from interviews held with present day veterans of military campaigns, and reflects the soldiers’ own words and experiences.
Budding performers don’t need to have previous experience; you don’t need to be able to read music or even to have performed opera before.
If you are willing to have fun and give it a go, come along to one of our FREE Singing Roadshows and Experience Opera Taster Day led by friendly and talented singers. Open to anyone aged 11 years and over.
