COVID-19 statement

Considering recent Government advice to minimise the spread of COVID-19, Opera Sunderland will be postponing all planned rehearsals and performances of The Soldier’s Return.

The health and safety of our team and community performers is our priority.

We will be working behind the scenes to re-schedule the show, and now are considering the first week of November, with rehearsals starting in September. This is of course dependent on how events unfold in the coming weeks and months.

We hope that all those who have signed up to be part of the chorus will bear with us, and look forward to seeing you safe and sound when this emergency is over.
