Fiona Tobin hails from County Durham and studied music at the University of Edinburgh. An active choral and solo singer, Fiona has sung with the Chorus of Royal Northern Sinfonia since 2007 and guested with many other groups including Voices of Hope.
Fiona was part of the Learning team at Sage Gateshead for 10 years, helping to create opportunities for people of the North East to engage with music and singing, and now works for Tyne & Wear Building Preservation Trust.
Fiona lives in Sunderland and took part as a performer in MIRACLE! An Opera of Two Halves in 2015 after being on the Opera Sunderland and Music in the Minster board since 2012.
Fiona is very interested in creating and promoting opportunities for everyone to be creative in their everyday lives and strongly believes in the power of music to unite, inspire and change lives.
