The Soldier's Return to be made into a film

A lot has changed over the last few months for Opera Sunderland due to the Covid-19 restrictions and since our sad decision to cancel the rehearsals for the 'live production' of The Soldier's Return. However we are now pleased to continue our adventure through the online world, and for you, from the comfort of your living room!

We are recruiting people to be part of our online community chorus. Led by the talented Chorus Master Simon Fidler.

Producing the film will be award winning NE film makers Meerkat Films and distinguished musician and sound engineer, Ian Stevenson of Simpson Street Studios

Online Workshops via Zoom will run on a weekly basis from Friday 14th August 2020. Time tbc.
